The Peanut Gallery is an intergenerational podcast where MTH Executive Artistic Director Tim Scott and MTH Founder George Harter engage in conversations about professional theater and the performing arts. Listen in as they discuss theater trends, the business of theater, and the power of live theatrical experiences ~ while sharing stories, musings, and anecdotes about life on and off the stage. While George and Tim offer unique perspectives from two different generations, they have been friends and colleagues for more than 15 years.

Tim Scott is MTH’s Executive Artistic Director and a 20 year member of Actors Equity Association, the union for professional actors in the United States. Additionally, Tim serves as Theater correspondent on KCTV 5’s lifestyle morning show, Better Kansas City.
George Harter founded MTH (Musical Theater Heritage) in 1997. Additionally, George was the host and producer of the nationally syndicated radio program A Night on the Town for more than 20 years. While George is retired now, he continues to guide theater trips to Broadway and New York City.
